ORDER OF PLAY     Teams shall play games in the ASCENDING order of handicaps starting with the lowest handicap players first.
MATCHES    All matches shall be played as SINGLES Full handicap difference. It is strongly recommended that all matches shall be played as normal 2 ball matches.  e.g.   There will be individual 2 ball matches.   If the Home Team Managers have serious "Health, and Safety" risk concerns they have discretion in exceptional circumstances to authorize 2, "2 balls" to be played concurrently.     If a match has to be abandoned owing to bad weather without any game coming to a conclusion the match may be re-arranged or may be halved by agreement of both team managers.   Provided at least one team fields six players and bad weather intervenes, then three or more completed games shall determine the result and the remaining games which could have been played, halved.   Teams which fail to field a complete team shall loose the games where the opposing team have a qualifying player ready to play on the day.    Any team which fails to attend the agreed match shall forfeit all games and loose the match.   The use of electronic distance finders is permitted provided that the home club permits their use.
FINALS    The winners of each league will play in a medal round of 18 holes.   The winning team will be the team with lowest aggregate score of one gross and four net scores.    The fifth net score will be used as a tie-break in the event of tied scores.   If there is still a tie then the lowest handicap player in each team will take part in a sudden death play-off.   The winning team will represent the league in the regional finals of the National Team Championships.
BEHAVIOUR   It is expected that teams will change out of the clothes in which they played to a shirt and tie before the meal after each match.      Players are to respect the local Club House rules and to behave in an appropriate manner both on and off the course.      No caddies or coaching is allowed whilst a match is in progress.    Any supporters or parents are not permitted to coach any player or to follow a match in such a way as to give the appearance of coaching a player.    The team manager is responsible for the behaviour of their team and to ensure Child Protection and Welfare at all times when attending matches.
DISPUTES     In the event of a dispute or incident which cannot be resolved locally, the parties concerned shall set out the complaint in writing to the League Secretary.     He will then call a meeting as stated in 5.1 of the league constitution and notify both parties of the outcome.
